A handcrafted iron frying pan made using traditional Japanese techniques.
Iron has long been valued for its strength, durability, and excellent heat retention. This uchidashi (hand-hammered) frying pan is shaped through thousands of hammer strikes by skilled craftsmen, creating subtle textures on the surface that help oil spread evenly and improve cooking performance.
The pan and handle are formed from a single piece of iron, with an ergonomically shaped oval handle for a comfortable grip. This seamless construction also makes the pan easy to clean and highly durable.
Designed for everyday use, this pan delivers even heat distribution and enhances the natural flavors of your ingredients.
How to Season (Before First Use)
After heating the pan thoroughly to remove all moisture, apply a thin layer of oil while still hot and allow it to spread evenly. Then cool the pan on a damp cloth. This process helps prevent food from sticking.
The 200 mm size is ideal for preparing meals for one or two people, such as eggs, bacon, or simple dishes.
